torrentlitigation.com Official "Do-Not-Download" List
Updated September 8, 2014
As copyright owners continue to plague our courts with file sharing lawsuits, a very common question we get asked is : ...well, I mean...I did not download anything, but...what should I definitely NOT download?
We get it, and good question. Amateur Allure MaeLynn and Teen Anal Nightmare 2 are perhaps the best-known examples, although there are hundreds (as you will see) of works the unauthorized download/distribution over which the work owners sue.
We attempted to mine our database to help answer this question months ago, though the time commitment proved to be a bit daunting. Now, with approximately 2,000 complaints in our database spanning almost three years of litigation, the task was even larger. However, thanks to assistance from Katerina Pesic and Ferdous Hasan, we have compiled the following list of works which have been the subject of relatively-recent federal litigation, ranked in order of the frequency in which the work has been the subject of a copyright infringement suit.
This list is based only on the lawsuits collected in our database. However, considering the sheer volume of complaints we have collected and pertinence to the aforementioned plague brought, mostly, by litigants, the list can serve as an indicator of potential liability and a warning to those who may be contemplating improperly downloading the content.
